Giles was a character, friendly, fun-loving and with a quick wit. He was a good guy, a bit battle weary from his last relationship but just at the beginning of a new and bright chapter of his life. We had some good times together, and I'll miss our chats in real life and in text form, which often made me chuckle; he was also an exceptional Words with Friends (online Scrabble) opponent, often winning but a little sore on the occasion that I won! Though it's extremely sad that he's gone, I am thankful for the time I had with him as my friend.
